So after the morning excitement we began the rest of our day. Colton was running around the house singing "SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN!" Jody and I were tired and Hayden was right out as you can see below.
After a nice nap, he went over to hang out with Uncle Christopher (now known as the baby whisperer). It seemed all night long Uncle Christopher traded between Hayden and his cousin Levi, and every time one of hem landed in his arms, they immediately relaxed and fell asleep. Once they were passed off to somebody, they woke up and were restless.
Later in the evening came a family gift exchange where Colton got even more presents... Like he needed anymore. Below he is ripping into a gift given to him by Uncle Matthew. Notice how Superman is in tow. They were inseparable the whole night, and the following day.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Today will be full of blog posts about our Christmas day. It started out with us waking up around 9:00 am, and Cole being very excited.

Merry Christmas Eve All!
My favorite holiday is almost here! There truly is no greater holiday ever than Christmas. A time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. A time to focus on the greatest gift given to mankind in our Savior Jesus Christ. A time where we can emulate his life by serving those around us, sharing in a spirit of peace and brotherhood.
I love the everything associated with Christmas. The traditions, the Christmas music, the feasting, the family, the joy of watching children excitedly rip open their gifts to see what is inside. Christmas trees, stockings, snow, World Juniors Hockey (maybe a select crowd on that one).
This year our family is spending Christmas out in Ontario with my wife's family. Colton and Hayden will get to be around their little cousins, and we will be able to experience Turducken for the first time. It promises to be an eventful day. I plan on taking a few highlight pictures and sharing it with you all tomorrow as it happens.
I hope all of you, my friends; are enjoying your Christmas holiday. Please stay safe. Should you feel so inclined, please go a head and list off to me some of your family traditions, or things you love about Christmas. I like hearing how others celebrate the holidays. Merry Christmas!

Ever have one of those songs that won't leave your head?
Ok, I understand some of you may not understand this. That is ok.Perhaps this was created for my sole enjoyment. I'm a fan of Tracy Morgan. I think he is the true funny guy on 30 Rock, his skits on Saturday Night Live were ridiculous. On Sunday I went over to my parents house, and my brothers wanted to watch the Jimmy Fallon Show that they recorded on Friday, because it had Tracy Morgan as a guest. I'll get back to that story in a moment...
A while ago my buddy Seth wanted to introduce me to a Youtube video that was catching like wildfire, it was called Tro Lo Lo. I watched it and for the next while I was tortured by the constant ringing of the song in my head. It was a horrible video, and the song popped in my head at the worst of times! Now back to the first story...
So my brother's an I were watching Jimmy Fallon, and before he went to interview Tracy Morgan, he was going to perform one of his little gag songs that he does every now and then. Nothing could have prepared us for what happened next. My brother's an I were literally rolling on the ground dying of laughter! There is no real point to the song, or the hilarity that ensues. I can't explain why it gave me the reaction that it did. Maybe it was the sheer ridiculousness of it all. Maybe it was the outfit Tracy Morgan was wearing, the song, the dancing, a combination of all three. Either way it was effective, and its been stuck in my brain ever since. I can't get it out. It pops in at the most awkward of times, and people wonder what I'm giggling about. Its like a funnier Tro Lo Lo effect. Anyhow, I figured I would share it with the world. You can tell me what you think. Click on the word link.
