Colton's B-Day, The aftermath

The poor cupcake didn't stand a chance! He was so excited the moment he started eating it. It was really funny, because right from the first taste of frosting, he was giggling. It was like he was doing something really naughty, and loving every moment. Boy what a day for our little man. He was so wiped by the end of it all, but he loved every moment. The day started off with a trip to the Early Years Center for a Birthday book party. All the kids in the community who have March birthdays got together, played with toys, had a guest reader come in to read to them, cake, and then they each get a story book as they leave. After that we went to the Fun Works. It a massive kids arcade with a huge padded jungle gym, 2 ball pits, 4 different slides, obstacle course. He crawled and played and slid to his hearts content. As we got into the car to head home he passed right out of exhaustion. Once we got home we fed him dinner and he got to open his presents. As is usual with kids his age, he was more interested in the paper than the gifts. Finally it was time for his first cake. We lit the candle, sang happy birthday, and then the chaos ensued. All in all, it was a pretty good day, and he really enjoyed himself. Whether or not he remembers it, it sure gave mommy and daddy some great memories.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLTON MY BOY!

Megan! So cool to hear from you. how did you find out about my blog? No it'll never be Facebook for me. I'm very anti-facebook. But please, keep coming back and checking my blog out. I try to balance it out with family updates. Take care.
